Bénédicte Liénard
Belgian, Bénédicte Liénard was born in Belgium on April 25, 1965. Her documentaries: « TETES AUX MURS » and « POUR VIVRE, J’AI LAISSE » went to many festivals and were distributed by T.V. R.T.B.F and ARTE. Her feature film « UNE PART DU CIEL » was Official Selection – Cannes 2002 – Un Certain regard. Her work in theatre « TOUS LES AUTRES S’APPELLENT ZEKI » was shown all around Belgium and France. In collaboration with Mary Jiménez she did: “DES HOMMES RESPECTABLES “ a radio piece distributed by RTB la Une.
She co-directs “SOBRE LAS BRASAS” a documentary shot in the rain forest. Sobre las brasas got several prizes among which : Jury prize Fidhoc, first prize Poitiers, second prize Taiwan Film festival.
In 2015 she finishes a long feature “RISING VOICES”.
She teaches Film production at the Institute des Arts de Diffusion.
