Hachimiya Ahamada

French, Hashimiyah Ahamada was born in Dunkirk, August 6, 1976. His parents were from the Comoros. After experiencing some small documentary portraits in a video workshop Dunkirk 'Ecole de la Rue', she was trained in the Realization section at the INSAS (National Higher Institute of Performing Arts and Diffusion) in Brussels. She graduated in 2004.

In 2008, she made her first short film 'Ylang Ylang Residence' on the island of Grande Comore (Comoros first movie in 35mm format). This film was presented at the International Critics' Week in Cannes.
